As New Year is the time for Resolutions I decided to start this blog to record the wildlife and changes in our garden over the coming year.

Our garden is on the outside edge of a small 1960’s housing estate, in a small country town.  We have the best of both worlds – country behind us and the town in front.  So we have birds associated with suburbia, as well as nightly visits from our local badgers, muntjac, foxes and plenty of other rural wildlife.

A bonus over the last couple of years has been the arrival of a pair of buzzards, which have bred successfully in the copse behind us.
